These are suggestions for keeping and publishing your diary. We will revise them and post them with new revision dates.

You should keep diarys to organize and communicate your Sankirtan team.

TEACHERS

Many great people like Carl Jung and His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada et al keep diarys and give advice on why and how to do it. Also collect hints on YouTube etc. We like Alfonso Dunn. Even if you don’t share them they will help you.

MATERIALS

Unlimited. You can buy Composition Books at Walmart etc. for only a dollar each. Others sell them for $2, $3.

We like back side of used 8.5x11 photo-copy paper. We fold them to 7x4.25. This is ¼-legal size paper and is the same size as Nectar of Instruction. CCD made a little clip-board for this folded size that we can put in our Small Book Bag with Rama’s NoI. Later you can spread the paper out for storage and photo copying.

The composition books can be taken to Office Max and they will chop the bindings off for 75-cents. Even do three in one chop. Then they will pass through their auto-feeder for scanning as Jpeg of Pdf for sharing as files or printing. After that you can have the pages spiral bound, inserting what ever you want to include.

For PENS we can use whatever is at hand. This was Hanuman’s technique. We don’t think he ever carried a club. He just picked up whatever Sticks ‘n Stones, books, ideas, paper, pens, we’re hand and used it to smash the enemy.

Yet, we like to carry a Black, Pilot Fine Point pen and a Mechanical Pencil in our Small Book Bag and other eraser, pencil sharpener etc and a PILOT FINE POINT RED pen in our Shoulder Bag.

TECHNIQUES

Chakravarty Das, Hansadutta Swami’s Commander in Chief for Germany, told us that for German’s there are two colors: Black and White and sometimes . . . Red. Yet, we Americans add Grey. Look at all the autos (around the world!) and you see their colors.

Paper is white, pen is black, pencil is grey. Later when our shoulder back, small parts box, is open we apply the Red.
