Monkey (Tom Brown) read Indradyumna Swami’s, “Diary of a Traveling Preacher”, and he decided that he wanted to start his own DTC, “Diary of a Traveling Creature”. Piggy (Buck White) commented that it should probably be called the “Diarrhea of a Traveling Creature”.

Sometimes they fight like that, but really they are very close friends and Piggy also contributes to the DTC now.

ASA, Uncle Gismo, is designing a DTC Pocket Diary that is the same size as the Nectar of Instruction. It will have basic philosophical principles for contemplation and be useful to plan your Godly service and especially to collect the dust raised by Srila Prabhupada as we run behind him chanting, “Krsna! Krsna”. It will be for collecting content and format for Tava-pache-pache – Afterwords to the Nectar of Instruction.

Besides the Pocket DTC, we also keep an 8½ x 11 – DTC and post DTC comments on the ASA blog (www.hps.monkeywarrior.com). There are also old DTCs in the ASA Archives etc.

Christmas 2013, the Pocket DTC is still in design we are making blank copies for our own use and distributing twenty prototype copies. If you have one you can clip the corner of the pages so that you can thumb to your current Diary entry quickly. Make two pages into a Calendar for the fortnight. Leave a page for more details. Make a Sample Day page and keep your Clip-board Notes that way. Collect information for publishing, preaching.
